Wow, the beautiful indiana summer of 2010 came and went... Summer session is officially over, way over! My summer was a time for exploring the south bend community with hoop JAMS, drum circles, chain of lakes, walks in the woods, slumber parties on the shores of Lake Michigan, and gardening (that was a whole lot of radishes!). This summer was a gift and a lesson in healing. The fall brings reflection, and time and space for new creations! Reggae Fest and Artbeat was a definite inspiration to see such creative spirit in my home town, South Bend. With the changing weather I have returned to Chicago. Hoops may still show up at drum circle, where ever it maybe for the winter. I will still be exploring ways to bring hoops to areas surrounding South Bend and Chicago.
